The maximum occupancy for our rental is 11 guests.

There is a gas crab cooker with large and extra large pots available for guests to use.

Yes, we have free onsite parking available for guests, with room for boats.

Our rental includes a fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels, toilet paper, bathroom consumables and a hair dryer. Our 10-seat outdoor dining table makes meal time and entertainment on the huge front patio easy. 

For the fishers and crabbers, we have a filleting bench, deep freeze and gas crab cooker. A pressure cleaner is available for those quick boat hose-downs.

The Bay House is about 2km from the boat ramp at Thirsty Sound. 

 The Plum Tree Store on Banksia Street is open 7 days and can help you with fuel and gas, convenience items, meals and so much more.  

 Across the road from the Bay House, on Alligator Bay is an amazing Turtle Rookery.  Nesting usually starts in the month of November with hatchlings finding their way down the beach to the water in the month of January.  It's such a special experience.  

 Judging by the feedback we receive, any time is a fabulous time to visit Stanage! 

Some people like to schedule their visits when the International Defense Force Training Exercises are on each June-July,  for the entertainment served by heavy machinery, ships and aircrafts. Others enjoy festive seasons and public holidays to get away with family. The Winter months are always popular for fishing of course, but between the beaches, the river and estuarine system and the islands and ocean out wide, there is plenty to do all year round.
